About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Analyst to join our Banking & Financial Services Practice at Oliver Wyman. As a Senior Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Practice leaders and consultants, focusing on the Corporate & Investment Banking sectors.
Responsibilities will include planning and executing demanding research projects, interpreting results, and collaborating with the global Knowledge Services team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive synthesis of knowledge, datasets, reports, and insights, identifying key concepts and trends.
Strong research skills in various financial research databases and the ability to grasp new ones quickly are essential. You will execute analysis, sense-check, and deliver results, demonstrating a desire to grasp client impact by asking impactful and relevant questions. Over time, you will build professional relationships with practice heads, partners, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of prior related research experience as a financial services researcher or analyst, well-versed in financial services trends and competitive impacts on companies and sectors. A minimum BS/BA degree is required, with CFA achievements being an advantage. Strong project management skills and evidence of a collaborative approach are essential.
