**Job Summary**
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality across all aspects of plant operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead daily production meetings to address facility issues and optimize talent through planning, assessment, and actions.
- Evaluate and manage plant capacity to meet customer demands while maintaining cost and quality.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive process enhancements and performance improvements.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety by creating an accident-free workplace and promoting a culture of accountability.
- Foster high engagement and performance among team members, identifying and solving performance constraints through company-wide expertise.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, Science, or related field.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years combined related experience, including 5 years of management experience as an Operations Manager or other roles at the Plant Manager or Plant Director level.
- Experience leading in a union environment.
- Able to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
