Responsibilities
- Provide general dental care in the educative, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative areas
- Supervise dental hygienists and Expanded Function Dental Auxiliaries as needed
- Participate in the implementation of community-oriented dental programs
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved and accredited school of dentistry
- Licensure to practice dentistry in New Mexico (or endorsement by the New Mexico Board of Dentistry)
- Knowledge of dentistry concepts, principles, and practices
- Ability to communicate ideas and instruction orally and in writing
