Gastroenterologist Opportunity at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System
We are seeking a full-time MD/DO Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock.
Highlights of this Opportunity:

- Daily Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm;
- 1 day per week in clinic
- 3-4 days per week in the endoscopy lab
- 1/4 inpatient consult rotation, with assistance of 2 P.A.s
- 1/4 call coverage, with assistance of 2 P.A.s and a full hospitalist team.
- Paid Time Off: Total of 50 - 55 days per year
- Freedom to Pursue Additional Opportunities: No Physician Employment Contract, you can moonlight or work in other facilities as long as you do not treat veterans there
- Financial Incentives: Recruitment, relocation, and Education Debt reduction of up to $200K

Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
- All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- You may be required to serve a probationary period
- Subject to background/security investigation
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process
- Must pass pre-employment physical examination
- Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP)
