Gastroenterologist Opportunity at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System

We are seeking a full-time MD/DO Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock.

Highlights of this Opportunity:

• Competitive Compensation: Potential starting base salary range: $350,000-$400,000

• Daily Work Schedule:
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm;
• 1 day per week in clinic
• 3-4 days per week in the endoscopy lab
• 1/4 inpatient consult rotation, with assistance of 2 P.A.s
• 1/4 call coverage, with assistance of 2 P.A.s and a full hospitalist team.
• Paid Time Off: Total of 50 - 55 days per year
• Freedom to Pursue Additional Opportunities: No Physician Employment Contract, you can moonlight or work in other facilities as long as you do not treat veterans there

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy
• All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English
• You may be required to serve a probationary period
