We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team at Seaman Corporation.
As a Corporate Counsel, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization against legal risks by advising business units on legal matters related to their operations.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic legal counsel and advice to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders on a broad range of matters
- Assisting General Counsel with drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements, vendor supply chain agreements, customer agreements, terms and conditions, and other commercial agreements and documents
- Conducting legal and factual research and providing written analyses
- Reviewing and assisting with preparation of documents and legal due diligence for real estate and M&A transactions
- Assisting with the use of contract management system
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department
