Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager I to join our team at Big Sandy Superstore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team and new hires, providing training and setting goals, and supporting the store's Management Team as needed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to multitask. Previous retail management/supervisory experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales team and new hires
- Provide training and set goals for the sales team
- Support the store's Management Team as needed
- Communicate effectively with the Management Team on individual and department performance
- Lead morning and afternoon huddle meetings to motivate and educate the sales team and Management Team
- 'Debrief' sales professionals after interactions to recognize strengths and areas for improvement
- Learn all roles and functions within the store and operations
