Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Family Medicine physician to join our team at a Non-Profit FQHC in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to vulnerable populations, including low-income, under-insured, uninsured, publicly housed, and homeless individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses
- Conduct routine check-ups, health screenings, and chronic disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with the latest medical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine
- Current license by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine
- ACLS or CPR/AED certification
- Current DEA, DEA-X, and Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure for prescriptive authority
- Eligible for unrestricted hospital privileges
