Graduating Dentist

Job Summary:

Miles of Smiles seeks a highly skilled Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care and oversight to our patients. This is a full or part-time position.

About Our Practice:

We have 3 treatment rooms equipped with digital charts, radiographs, CBCT, intraoral cameras, and digital impressions. We also offer ample parking for our patients and staff.

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
• At least one (1) year of directly related experience, including completion of an accredited general practice residency program

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct dental diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care for our patient population
2. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions
3. Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of dental technical and support staff as required
4. FOLLOW ESTABLISHED DEPARTMENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OBJECTIVES, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND/OR INFECTION CONTROL STANDARDS
5. Participate in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs as appropriate to the position
6. Maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
7. Demonstrate knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in your area of expertise
8. Stay up-to-date on current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in your area of expertise
9. Understand legal and ethical standards for the delivery of dental surgical care
10. Be knowledgeable about relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and be able to prescribe dosages and instruct patients regarding correct usage
