About the Opportunity
The Senior Director, Public Policy & Advocacy at Jobleads-US will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change in the lives of individuals impacted by paralysis.
This senior leadership role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in public policy, advocacy campaigns, and coalition building. Key responsibilities include:
- Policy Development: Develop and implement a multi-faceted advocacy and public policy strategy that addresses the needs of the spinal cord injury (SCI) and paralysis communities.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with potential partner organizations and subject matter experts to educate members on key policy/advocacy issues.
- Team Management: Supervise staff, oversee consultants, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
- Education and Experience: Four-year college (bachelor's degree) and 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Qualifications: Significant professional experience in public policy, advocacy campaigns, research and analysis, and coalition building. Graduate degree in a related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent level English verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate well with others and build strong partnerships both internally and externally.
