About the Position:
The High School Career Pathways Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between Baystate Health and local high schools to develop and implement career pathways for high school students. This role requires strong communication and partnership-building skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school administrators, teachers, and counselors to promote career pathways and opportunities.
- Coordinate job shadowing, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities for high school students.
- Collaborate with Workforce Planning and the Healthcare Education Office to support school partnerships and new programming development.
- Provide recruitment, orientation, and support services to high school students participating in career pathways.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, required.
- Bilingual, preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in youth development and/or education with high school students.
