About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee a portfolio of stabilized Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of these assets, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize value for our partners.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand limited partnership agreements, regulatory agreements, financing documents, and other relevant sources to determine enforceability of terms, financing structures, and constraints.
- Analyze year-end financial audits for respective LIHTC partnerships and quarterly financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with general partners, property managers, lenders, and governmental entities to resolve operational issues and facilitate problem resolution.
- Evaluate property management performance, assign risk ratings, and prepare Watch List reports to ensure long-term viability of LIHTC assets.
- Participate in recruitment, development, and training of junior asset managers to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and responsibilities.
