Job Description
The Director of Manufacturing will lead an ambitious operational agenda focused on transformation and growth, responsive to a fast-changing world and becoming more consumer and customer-centric through cost-efficient agile operations.
This role reports to the VP of Operations and works as part of the Beverage leadership team. Key responsibilities include shaping the operational strategy for sustainable, profitable growth and performance, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Create a compelling vision and strategy for the operation that aligns with the overall technology strategy.
- Develop and execute an operational strategy that drives business performance and is fully aligned to growth and margin expansion priorities.
- Support site leadership to deliver excellent day-to-day operational performance across key efficiency, service-level, safety, quality, and people indicators.
- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative, and empowered leadership culture influencing and engaging at all levels across the organizational matrix.
- Ensure the technology manufacturing footprint and capability are fit for purpose by proactively interpreting and planning timely responses to changes in the market and anticipating customer requirements.
- Lead strategic forward-looking change initiatives and operational projects around capital investment, performance, and cultural change.
- Contribute to the development of an aligned approach to Operations best practice across Kerry Foods.
- Develop a pipeline of high-performing talent within operations functional areas with a positive, proactive, and change-oriented mindset.
- Lead by demonstrating behavioral prerequisites supporting the Kerry Production System and the Kerry Foods Manufacturing Standard.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred. 10 years of leadership experience in a food or food-related manufacturing facility. A commitment to operational excellence with continuous improvement and cost-effective agility driving success.
