About the Role:
The Institutional Effectiveness Manager will play a critical role in supporting SUNY Ulster's commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and student success. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing the institutional effectiveness plan, including an assessment cycle that requires regular assessment, reporting, and action plans. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research, planning, and leadership, with experience in managing continuous quality improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a related field and at least five years of progressive experience in higher education institutional effectiveness, research, and planning. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of current issues and trends in higher education, as well as knowledge of research methodologies and higher education regional accreditation standards and requirements.
The Institutional Effectiveness Manager will be responsible for coordinating with all areas on design and analysis of outcomes assessment, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and use of results. They will also be responsible for championing SUNY Ulster's assessment efforts, disseminating assessment results, advocating for the value of assessment, and identifying appropriate professional development strategies to support the College's goals.
