About the Role
The Information Technology Director is a senior-level position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills. As a member of the Finance and General Services team, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategy, ensuring seamless technology integration across the organization, and providing exceptional support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategy and roadmap to enhance user experience and support organizational mission and priorities
- Liaise with IT partners, department directors, and leadership teams to coordinate IT-related activities
- Manage and oversee the development and implementation of new applications and updates to existing applications
- Lead and direct efforts to streamline and enhance existing application instances, improving workflow, utilization, and adoption across the organization
- Provide training and support to cross-departmental Salesforce super user team
- Act as secondary approver for ongoing requests from users to address new or revised functionality requirements
- Negotiate and oversee multi-year contracts with external IT contractors and partners
- Develop and manage the annual budget for IT expenses, including hardware and software purchases
Requirements
- Strong Salesforce database experience required
- Ability to create structure, processes, and systems to align with organizational strategy
- Knowledge of Microsoft O365 products required
- Strong PC skills with expertise in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), Google, and Apple products
- Experience in engaging with diverse communities
- Must pass child safety screening
