Intermediate Interior Designer – Retail and Interior Design Studio
CORE Architects is seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Intermediate Interior Designer with 5 years of professional experience for their Retail Implementation and Interior Design Studio. This is a full-time, in-person, position with a focus on fast paced, technical heavy retail roll-outs and interior design projects . It functions in the residential, retail, hospitality and commercial sectors.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the design process, FF&E, specifications, colour selection, and materials
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (minimum 2010), Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Microsoft Office and working knowledge of 3D Studio Max
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code
- Exceptional graphics and presentation skills to communicate ideas including effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to collaborate with other team members
- Proven ability to identify and solve problems with creative solutions
- Fluency in French would be an added advantage
