Job Summary:
Amazon's Legal Department is seeking a skilled attorney to support our storage, streaming, and messaging services for Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com.
We're looking for a products counseling attorney to support AWS's innovative cloud services. In this role, you will work directly with business teams as lead counsel advising your clients as they develop and operate cloud products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Advising on regulatory and compliance matters, privacy, security, IP, and go-to-market strategy
- Drafting and negotiating commercial licensing agreements
Requirements:
- 5 years of legal experience
- Experience with technology, IP licensing and technology transactions, data privacy, cloud computing, or enterprise software systems
- A combination of law firm and in-house experience
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
