Job Title: Manufacturing Product Engineer-Principal
Job Description:
As a key team member of the Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for releasing a diverse portfolio of microwave semiconductor products. The role involves developing production tests plans to verify product performance, designing and debugging RF test boards for automated test equipment, and analyzing data using sound statistical methodology.
To accomplish these tasks, you will interact closely with Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Applications, Marketing, and Reliability Engineering to analyze and resolve issues related to sample, pre-production, and full production release of a product. You will work with internal and offshore test facilities to release products to production.
Responsibilities:
- Generate production tests plans to verify product performance.
- Design/analyze RF & microwave test boards for automated test equipment.
- Conduct measurement systems analysis (gauge R&R).
- Analyze data using sound statistical methodology.
- Perform yield analysis and hold meetings of the project team to review the findings.
- Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including hardware, documentation, BOMs, and costing are in place for the production release of a product.
- Ensure new product introduction is successful and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 7 years of experience as a Product or Test Engineer in the semiconductor field.
- Knowledge of a wide range of RF/microwave semiconductor products, including amplifiers, switches, attenuators, mixers, and limiters.
- Strong RF/microwave test and measurement skills.
- Experience in characterizing semiconductor devices.
- Ability to analyze data using sound statistical methodology and effectively present technical information.
- Exceptional team and communication skills to interface with internal cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as JMP and Galaxy Examinator.
- Experience in scripting is a plus (Python, JMP etc).
