Medical Director
A dynamic and experienced Medical Director is sought to oversee the delivery of medical services at our correctional facility in Grants, NM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of medical care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall supervision of medical services, including patient care and staff management
- Collaborate with medical staff and institutional officials to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Evaluate existing medical programs and assess the health care needs of the inmate population
- Design and implement new policies, procedures, and protocols as needed
- Conduct inmate sick calls and provide emergency medical treatment when required
Requirements:
- New Mexico Medical license; Medical Degree required
- Primary care/internal medicine experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in an institutional healthcare setting preferred; correctional healthcare experience a plus
