Job Description
Premise Health is seeking a full-time Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and patient care in our client-based primary care clinic in Utica, IL.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Practice evidence-based medicine without production-based payments
- Measure success by the quality of patient care rather than financial metrics
- Conduct thorough histories, physical exams, and prescribe medical treatment as needed
- Provide comprehensive health care services, including episodic, preventive, occupational, and primary care, tailored to the needs of the client
- Participate in developing annual health center goals and objectives
- Collaborate on policy and guideline development to improve service delivery
- Meet with prospective candidates to assess clinical quality and cultural fit
- Train and mentor site physicians and staff providers
- Partner with DCO and operations team members to enhance member engagement and utilization
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical matters relevant to the health center's services
Requirements
- Licensed to practice medicine in each state of operation
- CPR (BLS for Healthcare Provider or ACLS) certification with hands-on evaluation
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in family practice, emergency room, ambulatory care, or occupational health settings
- Preferred: management/leadership experience in healthcare and knowledge of electronic medical records
