Primary Care Service Physician
Serve as a Primary Care Service Physician with the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS). Provide support to the primary care of Veterans and their significant others within the ECHCS catchment area and education of residents of affiliated medical schools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services to eligible Veterans.
- Interact with Veterans, family members, significant others, community agencies, and providers.
- Work in ECHCS and surrounding community-based clinics.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree.
- Have a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Complete residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Board Certification is required if the position being filled is required to be a supervisor for medical students or physician residents.
