About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Switzerland. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in communicating scientific knowledge to healthcare providers and external experts, fostering a more educated healthcare environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge on clinical data and the latest scientific advancements in hematology.
- You will engage in one-to-one scientific dialogue with external experts around GSK's medicines, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to confidently discuss with patients and the wider medical community.
- You will act as the interface between the professional healthcare community and the internal GSK medical team, bringing in value-added insights that inform strategy.
- You will partner with the professional healthcare community and experts by setting up medical collaborations.
- You will provide scientific education training for business partners.
- You will act as an expert speaker at scientific events, disseminating information to larger groups of healthcare providers while stimulating clinical dialogue to gain different views and perspectives.
- You will respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information from healthcare providers in a fair, factual, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner via the appropriate and preferred channel.
- You will partner with matrix colleagues (e.g. sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to identify evidence gaps and set up, in collaboration with the Medical Lead, evidence generation studies.
- You will support GSK study teams with the provision of scientific education and enquiry management from investigators and staff engaged in GSK-supported clinical trials.
