We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinical Specialist to join our team as a Clinical Leader ~ PMHNP or CNS ~ Education. This role will involve developing and implementing programs aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing protocols, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and clinical standards.
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice nurses, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative care environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, educators, and other stakeholders to provide coordinated care for patients and students.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree (MSN, DNP) with certification as a Nurse Practitioner (preferably Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
- At least 5 years of advanced clinical nursing experience, including psychiatric care and crisis management.
- Experience working with educational systems and evaluating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of current mental health regulations, evidence-based practices, and therapeutic modalities.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory standards for educational and healthcare systems.
- Strong mentoring and team-building abilities.
