About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Motility Gastroenterologist to join our clinical faculty. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional skills in general gastroenterology and a clinical focus in esophageal/foregut motility disorders. A Board Eligible/Board Certified background in Gastroenterology is required, along with an Illinois medical license at the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and engaging in academic productivity. This is a full-time position within the Department of Medicine's Division, with the potential for promotion to Assistant or Associate Professor.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A strong background in general gastroenterology and a clinical focus in esophageal/foregut motility disorders
- A Board Eligible/Board Certified background in Gastroenterology
- An active Illinois medical license at the time of appointment
