Financial Analyst
Travel: Not anticipated.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to customers in the Defense Travel Program. Responsibilities include performing reviewer routing official functions, reconciling travel transactions, and reporting according to prescribed policy and guidelines. Excellent customer service skills are required for interacting with travelers and subordinate command staff.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and knowledge of DoD/DON travel processing policies. A minimum of 5 years' specialized experience is required, as well as an active Secret Clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reviewer routing official functions in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Reconcile travel transactions in feeder and official accounting systems, such as Funds Administrator and Standard Document Automation System (FASTDATA), Standard Accounting and Reporting System/Field Level (STARS/F), and Standard Accounting, Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS).
- Maintain and update required documentation to support the Dormant Accounts Review Quarterly (DAR-Q) and audit readiness.
- Create, update, and distribute travel reports, including the Un-submitted Voucher Report and Cardholder Training Report.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting travelers with questions regarding voucher/authorization processing.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' specialized experience using Defense Travel System (DTS).
- A minimum of 5 years' specialized experience in DoD/DON travel processing/policies.
- An active Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
