At Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care through our comprehensive postgraduate fellowship program in primary care.
This one-year program is designed to equip nurse practitioner and physician assistant fellows with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to deliver high-quality patient care throughout their lifespan. You will learn to develop a collaborative approach to patient care, integrate behavioral and social sciences into your practice, and coordinate care with specialists.
As a fellow in this program, you will be immersed in a community setting where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. You will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals to develop your skills and become a leader in healthcare delivery and patient advocacy.
To participate in this fellowship program, please submit the following documents:
- A one-page statement of interest in postgraduate fellowship training in your chosen specialty
- PA/NP graduate transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted for current student applicants)
- A recent, professional passport-size photograph (jpeg format)
- One letter from an APP mentor or colleague (APP preceptor, mentor, etc.)
