About the School of Nursing:
The Azusa Pacific College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, including a Master's in Nursing and a Doctoral program in Nursing. These programs prepare nursing scholars for a lifetime of intellectual inquiry and leadership in the healthcare field. With an APU nursing degree, graduates enter the healthcare field with a solid foundation in research, theory, clinical skills, and hands-on community service, setting them apart as leaders in their profession qualified to change the face of healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities:
The Associate Dean of Nursing reports directly to the Dean and will be primarily responsible for providing support for graduate programs and fostering expanded opportunities for faculty scholarship and research. Collaborate with the Dean, other Associate Deans, Department Chairs, and other university officials to develop, implement, and oversee graduate programs and provide creative leadership for growth and innovation in faculty scholarship and research. Support faculty in securing external funding for scholarship and research activities and promote collaborative internal and external partnerships. Work closely with other university officials to facilitate the successful preparation and submission of curriculum and accreditation.
