We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cardiology Advanced Trainee to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of cardiology in New Zealand.
About the Role
- Role: Cardiology Advanced Trainee, based at Waikato Hospital
- Type: Fixed-term (6-12 months)
Our department is a busy one, with representation from all cardiac subspecialties, including advanced imaging, electrophysiology, structural intervention, and acute cardiology. As an Advanced Trainee, you will be exposed to general and subspecialty cardiac diagnostics, interventions, and management for a wide range of cardiac pathologies.

About the Department

If you are an overseas doctor, please ensure that your qualifications meet the Medical Council of New Zealand's criteria for registration to practice medicine in New Zealand.
Requirements
- Completed Divisional Clinical Examination with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- Prior experience in Cardiology or related field
