About the Job
The Head of Operations at our Devens site is an integral part of the Leadership team. This position offers the opportunity to scale operations significantly.
You will be responsible for the Manufacturing teams, Facilities, and Continuous Improvement.
You will have both strategic and tactical responsibility for developing, implementing and delivering our Manufacturing strategies alongside our operational goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of operations leaders at the Devens site.
- Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead to direct and successfully implement a Lean Business strategy to achieve best in class practice.
- Collaborate with relevant Value Stream Managers to measure product sales and optimise profitability through quality management and lean initiatives.
- Drive the growth and expansion of manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the stabilisation and planning of additional start-up opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven operational and strategic leadership experience in a similar role OR within a Manufacturing Manager level role, ready for the next step.
- Experience in a highly regulated engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing complex manufacturing facilities and/or multi-site operations.
- Proven record of achieving LEAN, 6-Sigma and continuous improvement goals.
- Technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
