Cornea Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Cornea Specialist to join our team at the Department of Ophthalmology at The University of Kansas Health System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive clinical care and participating in on-call duties as part of a shared faculty rotation.
- Supervising and mentoring medical students and residents in both clinical and surgical settings.
- Contributing to the department's didactic teaching program.
- Engaging in clinical research and presenting findings at national and regional conferences.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Kansas.
- Academic experience with a strong interest in teaching and research.
- Proven ability to develop and grow independent research programs, including securing funding from public and private sources.
