Job Description:
The Director, Student Portfolio and Hallmarks will lead the digital portfolio pilot and provide collaborative leadership to the Educating Character Initiative (ECI) grant focused on character, initiative, and calling.
This grant-funded position requires a student-centered, motivated, creative, and conscientious individual with excellent organizational, supervisory, and administrative skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the digital portfolio pilot including curriculum development and design.
- Provide training and continuing education to faculty, staff, and students for use of the portfolio.
- Coordinate with faculty and IT Services to facilitate use of the platform for the digital portfolio, evaluate its effectiveness, and make recommendations for future use.
- Collaborate with Career Services and other key partners regarding implementation and support for the portfolio.
- Oversee assessment for the effectiveness of the digital portfolio.
- Create a recommendation regarding the implementation of a digital portfolio as a capstone of the Campbell educational experience.
- Provide administrative support of the ECI grant in collaboration with the principal investigators.
- Work closely with PIs and OSRP on grant compliance matters.
- Assist in management of grant funds.
- Support and implement project activities outlined in the grant including mini-grants, marketing, and communication materials.
- Assist in assessment of grant activities.
- Serve as an advisor and conversation partner for the integration of character education and the hallmarks in undergraduate and graduate/professional programs as well as the development of a strategic plan for an office to support hallmarks and career development at Campbell University.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of concepts of purpose and calling, career development, and digital portfolio development.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and constituents, and meet set deadlines.
- Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and common methods of digital communication.
- Proficiency using and administering social media platforms.
- Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with employers, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials, and the public.
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours.
