**Ministry Description**
The Part-Time Disability Support Specialist will play a vital role in supporting families impacted by disabilities within the Kids and Student Ministries. Their primary responsibility will be to provide care and advocacy for these families, ensuring their inclusion in the church community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neurodiversity and experience working with children and students with diverse needs. They will be responsible for recruiting, processing, and training volunteers to support various ministry activities, as well as educating and training staff on inclusive practices.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and train volunteers and staff effectively. Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, as well as general audio/visual knowledge, are also essential.
