We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join our Physiatry-run team in Paterson, NJ. Our physicians work in SNF settings providing consultation and follow-up care. We collaborate closely with patients, their families, rehab staff, physicians, and hospital system pop-health teams.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough physiatric consultations and follow-up care for rehabilitation patients.
- Round on post-acute care patients regularly to track progress, identify obstacles, and improve quality of life.
- Maintain an active patient list, capture referrals, and engage with clinical staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop strong relationships with facility physicians, caregivers, administrators, and directors through regular communication and collaboration.
- Engage with patients and families to promote understanding of treatment options and procedures, setting clear expectations and fostering open communication.
- Attend facility rehab team meetings to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends.
- Fully comply with documentation, billing, and coding protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Regularly meet with facility leadership to understand needs and build relationships, reporting back to the Director on key updates and happenings.
- Collaborate with other treating physicians and Physician Assistants (PCPs, Orthopedists, etc.) to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Unrestricted NJ Medical License, CDS, DEA.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in PM&R.
- Annual compliance with ABPMR and NJBME Licensing & Certification Requirements.
