About the Role
Hana Bank USA is seeking a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills to engage with all stakeholders in a polite, yet assertive manner. This candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining adherence to ethical standards and bank policies.
The successful candidate will handle the portfolio of loans to small or medium-sized businesses and perform analysis in compliance with the Bank's requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing annual credit reviews of the loans assigned in a timely manner
- Assessing proper credit risk and risk ratings to the loans as well as proposing upgrades or downgrades
- Maintaining a proper correspondence log of collection efforts
In addition, this role requires:
- A minimum 3-5 years of experience managing portfolio management for a community bank, handling CRE, C&I, and/or SBA loans
- Ability and willingness to travel for site visits
- Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced skills in Excel
- Proficiency in Korean a plus
