">About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Family Medicine. As an LPN, you will provide practical nursing support in a physician practice or clinic setting, working closely with physicians and mid-level practitioners to deliver quality care to patients.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Complete patient assessment to include height, weight, vital signs, chief complaint, current medications, etc.
- Maintain work area, exam, treatment and x-ray rooms, and lab in a clean, safe manner; sterilize reusable equipment as needed.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with referral authorizations for specialists and pre-authorizations for testing and ancillary services.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required, or new graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam.
- Experience: One (1) year experience in a physician office preferred.
- Licensure as a Radiologic Technician Limited if performing radiology.
