The Primary Principal plays a critical role in directing overall site operations, services, and staff at the primary school. Key responsibilities include:
• Assigning disciplinary actions to students and staff while ensuring adherence to district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
• Chairing meetings to coordinate activities and achieve school, district, and state objectives.
• Delegating administrative functions to other personnel to manage workload efficiently and ensure continuity of work.
• Developing budgets and financial forecasts to provide financial guidance and recommendations to administrative personnel and the governing board.
• Evaluating assigned personnel to ensure standards are met and performance is maximized.
• Facilitating communication between stakeholders to support staff and students, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.
• Implementing policies, procedures, and processes to provide direction and comply with mandated requirements.
• Managing school administrative functions, such as facility maintenance, budgeting, staffing, and crisis planning, to maintain safe and efficient school operations within district guidelines.
