We're looking for a Product Development Manager to join our team at Astec. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new products and technologies.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial control systems, weights & measurements, and programming languages. They will be responsible for communicating with customers regarding equipment performance issues and working with other departments to resolve related automation system issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and analyze customer complaints.
- Identify missing configurations to ensure customers' products are configured and working correctly.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance issues associated with new or used control systems.
- Work with other departments to communicate related automation system issues and provide feedback to resolve any issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field required, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in controls systems, weights & measurements, and industrial controls.
- Strong background in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and multiple coding platforms.
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues in a positive fashion.
- Familiarity with database software, design software, development software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
