Program Goals and Objectives
This leadership role aims to develop staff by providing training and clinical supervision hours to pursue a career in substance use counseling.
As a Gateway employee, you will receive reimbursement for all costs associated with certification and have a growth path for advancement.
Schedule and Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (10-hour shifts).
You will be working in a correctional facility environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of clinical services and milieu management to support program goals.
- Liaison between facilities to integrate various programs and services.
- Initiation of corrective actions to meet quality, quantity, schedule, and cost specifications.
- Reviewing financial reports for accuracy and budgetary compliance.
- Preparing regular and special reports on financial status and program results.
- Assisting management in developing program policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social sciences, criminal justice, public health, or administration.
- Two years of administrative duties experience in a treatment setting, including supervisory experience.
- PREFERRED certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- PREFERRED certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) and/or Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).
- In-depth knowledge of management theories and techniques, working knowledge of federal and state rules governing health records confidentiality, and time and project management skills.
