Project Manager for Payments
We seek an experienced Project Manager to lead and optimise our diverse payment infrastructure, encompassing multiple payment providers, local payment methods, and traditional banking rails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and optimisation of payment methods, including SEPA (dedicated and non-dedicated IBAN), card payments (PayIn/PayOut), and local payment solutions/APMs
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, including technical teams, payment providers, and internal business units, to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain project timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies for payment infrastructure improvements
- Lead the integration and enhancement of digital wallet solutions, ensuring optimal user experience and technical performance
- Monitor and report on key project metrics, including implementation timelines, system performance, and success rates
- Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure payment solutions meet regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or product management within the payments or fintech industry
- Strong understanding of payment systems, including card networks, banking infrastructure, and alternative payment methods
- Proven track record of managing complex payment integration projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with digital wallet implementations and SEPA payment systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of payment compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks
