About Us
Millcreek of Arkansas was founded in 1988 to address the critical need for services catering to emotionally disturbed and developmentally disabled children and adolescents in the state.
Our Mission
We have been providing quality care to the children of Arkansas since our inception, serving severely emotionally disturbed children & adolescents in a 111 bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and developmentally disabled children & adolescents in a 61 bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Intellectually Disabled (ICF-IID).
What We Do
Millcreek is a privately licensed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID), and Special Education School that caters to children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17.

The Role We're Hiring For
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- One or more years' post-graduate degree practice preferred
- A current license to practice medicine, by the state in which the facility(s) operate
- Board certification or Board Eligibility (0-5 years of residency) in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
