Help Children and Adolescents with Behavioral Health Diagnoses
We are looking for a dedicated, board-eligible or certified Part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for our children's Outpatient services located in Malvern, PA.
About Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services
Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services' Community-based Outpatient Services team provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and young adults, ages 2 to 19, who are diagnosed with various behavioral health issues.
We offer individual therapy, as well as family therapy. Individual therapy identifies a child's specific behavioral challenges and develops the use of skills to enhance the individual's strengths through various forms of therapy.
Family therapy focuses on improving and enhancing family communication and positive support through parent education and family system therapy. During therapy, parents and caregivers are provided with parenting strategies and techniques that enable them to provide the best support for their children.

Job Responsibilities
Schedule: In office appointment availability 2 or 3 days/week; Complete Psychiatric Evaluations- scheduled a maximum of 2 evaluations/day, 90-minute blocks [60 mins of face-to-face assessment and 30 minutes for typing/dictation]
Quality documentation that supports medical complexity codes billed;
Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
Requirements
Listen to Devereux's SVP/Chief Clinical & Medical Officer, Dr. Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with current valid license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain). Child psychiatry training if treating population 16 years and younger. Must demonstrate relevant treatment competency through clinical experience, continuing education units, and referral letters to support these specific skills.
