Physician - Rheumatologist

Job Summary:
This position requires a Physician - Rheumatologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. A strong team player with excellent communication skills is required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and provide high-quality care to patients.
- Treat communicable diseases and injuries, and conserve the health of patients through preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Seek advice from consultants when necessary and instruct other medical personnel in patient care.
- Order tests, x-rays, and admissions as appropriate, and follow up on abnormal reports.
- Presume medications according to privileges and MTF rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Successful completion of an internship and residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
- Clinical competency within the past two years in the required clinical discipline.
- Cardiac certifications through the American Heart Association, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- Drug Enforcement Agency license registration.
- Board certified/board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Physical capability to stand and/or sit for extended periods and perform all services required.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working Monday through Friday, with hours between 0730 and 1630. The successful candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
