Job Title: Security Specialist
The Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) supports an operational environment ranging from unclassified to Top Secret (TS)/SCI level. Our divisions provide various security services, including managing personnel clearances, in/out processing of personnel, SCI Facility (SCIF) management and accreditation, and protection of classified information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the processing of received taskings through the Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) management system/Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2)
- Ensure that program tasks are accomplished on time and with the requisite level of quality
- Support the government by accomplishing various actions related to the sub-disciplines of INFOSEC through the development of recommendations for government approval
Requirements:
- Fluent in the English language and ability to read, write, and comprehend government documentation
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Government Security Programs
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in their respective field of expertise
- IAEC2112 Certification from National Security Agency (NSA) required
