Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager Information Security to lead our security operations/forensics and facilities security efforts. The successful candidate will have hands-on technical leadership experience, including developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect information assets and technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and capability assessments to protect against and respond to security incidents.
- Provide technical hands-on leadership and management of teams of security professionals, providing coaching, mentoring and development opportunities.
- Brew and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies) to ensure awareness of current industry trends, relevant security standards, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Hold a US DHS Security Clearance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Sound decision-making, proactive/creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Understanding of a broad set of security technologies and tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing information security strategies and programs.
- Experience investigating cyber attacks.
- Experience leading SOC teams and helping to detail detection strategies.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Desirable Experience:
~10 years of experience leading SOC teams, Threat Intelligence or other reactive areas of security.
~5 years of hands-on experience investigating cyber attacks.
~ Understanding of information security best practices, standards, and frameworks.
