Job Summary
As a highly skilled Sr. Estimator, you will join our Utility, Gas Operations team in San Dimas, California, and contribute to the success of Primoris Services Corporation.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and other materials issued during a bid.
- Have general knowledge of pipeline construction means and methods.
- Contact subcontractors by phone and e-mail to confirm their understanding of their scope of work and the upcoming bid date.
- Assist in preparing subcontractor bid packages.
- Support estimators and project managers on bid follow-ups when required.
- Review competitive subcontractor/supplier bids with senior management.
- Utilize Excel, Word, and Outlook to perform job duties.
- Maintain effective communication with Project Teams (Operations / Controls / Admin).
Requirements
- Proficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel and work varied shifts according to project demands.
