Project Overview
Banyan Global seeks a Project Manager to support the National Guard Youth Challenge Program (NGYCP) by overseeing training, assistance, and performance assessment efforts to enhance program effectiveness.
NGYCP provides military-based training, life skills education, and academic support to at-risk youth, helping them develop the necessary skills to complete high school, gain employment, and contribute to their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze program performance and coordinate technical assistance to improve NGYCP's enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.
- Develop and implement a training, assistance, and assessment plan to improve NGYCP program performance.
- Support the development and implementation of a statistical evaluation tool to measure NGYCP effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for program improvements, policy updates, and training strategies to address program challenges.
- Assist in the development of a National Database framework for tracking NGYCP participant progress and post-program outcomes.
Training & Technical Assistance
- Conduct on-site visits and training workshops to support NGYCP staff development and program operations.
- Assist NGYCP locations in implementing standardized training curricula and evaluation methods.
- Implement regional and national training workshops focused on cadet retention, mentor engagement, and staff development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- ~ 5 years of experience managing large, complex federal government projects.
- ~5 years of management experience in residential youth outreach programs.
- ~5 years of experience analyzing youth metric-based data to assess program effectiveness.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data tracking and reporting.
