Senior Stream Restoration Designer/Project Manager
Description:
The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the completion and overall success of a project. This role will act as the main point of contact for the client on their projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of dam removal and stream restoration projects, from initial assessment and planning through permitting, design, construction, and post-removal monitoring.
- Apply advanced knowledge of stream and restoration techniques to design and implement projects that restore natural hydrology, improve water quality, and enhance habitat connectivity.
- Evaluate and ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight on sediment transport, geomorphic assessments, and ecological monitoring related to dam removal and stream restoration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in dam removal and stream restoration project experience, including progressive responsibility and proven track record of project and people management skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) license is preferred.
