Senior Tax Manager/Tax Director

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely tax compliance and payment activities; ensure all tax processes and policies comply with Federal, State, and Local requirements.
- Enhance shareholder value while being compliant with applicable laws and regulatory bodies through tax planning and strategies.
- Manage IRS, state, and local income, franchise, excise, and sales and use tax audits to ensure compliance with laws while paying no more than legally required.
- Work with CFO, Legal, Accounting, and German tax function to ensure OECD and US requirements for related party transactions (transfer pricing) are within required norms and appropriately documented.
- Perform quarterly tax accounting calculations, tax calculations required for budget purposes, and any required true-ups to ensure compliance with IFRS requirements.
- Train, teach, and mentor staff for succession planning and professional growth.
- Identify and mitigate any tax risk or opportunity using planning techniques allowable based on legal requirements and communicate properly with US and/or German management.
- Understand, interpret, and apply various tax laws for multiple authorities and required accounting policies under IFRS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites.
- SAP experience.
