What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Inventory Operator position at Jobleads-US?
The Regional Shipping & Receiving Operative plays a vital role in ensuring our products are shipped efficiently and professionally to both internal and external customers.
This position is responsible for general warehousing functions including:
- Shipping and receiving VELUX products
- Picking, loading, and unloading trucks
- Stocking, labeling, packaging, and driving a forklift
In addition, the Regional Shipping & Receiving Operative will assist with physical inventory and bar coding, installation of blinds, and provide support with data collection and SAP.
Key requirements include shipping and receiving experience, general warehousing knowledge, forklift experience, and a certified forklift license. Additionally, good math skills are necessary for physical inventory counts, and experience with hand tools, assembling parts, physical inventories, scanning bar-coded products, and data collection is preferred.
The Regional Shipping & Receiving Operative must also adhere to all rules of conduct, safety regulations, and policies provided by the company.
