We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.
About the Job:
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure ensuring the security and integrity of Federal/National Security organization's information systems, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
The Asset Manager will be responsible for providing asset management services and inventory control analysis to maintain consistent accountability of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) assets supporting the SIE. This includes documenting and coordinating shipping and receiving of ADPE assets, accountability of inventory, short term storage facilities of computer/communications-related assets, and distribution of hardware, as directed by the Government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommending and supporting the development and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
- Recommending and supporting the development, maintenance, and updating of approved policies and procedures for effective IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal.
- Analyzing inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, which shall ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Reporting on inventory levels to efficiently utilize capital investment while maintaining adequate coverage for known/projected demand.
- Inspecting goods and materials and assessing the condition of assets for distribution/recycling.
- Maintaining records of acquisition/distribution of property, supplies, and materials by utilizing applicable processes.
- Aiding with completing quarterly and annual inventories.
- Recommending metrics, gathering data, and reporting on the effectiveness of the IT asset management processes.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in an IT and asset management position.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing is highly recommended.
- Prior experience supporting an enterprise level IT contract in a DoD organization.
