Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting firmware and software programs with high autonomy for packaging systems that enable precision dispensing. You will work on complex hardware-software interaction problems requiring strong analytical and data-driven approaches to make our products smarter, more connected, and intelligent.
Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, and test software based on product requirements
- Adapt to changing requirements and fully communicate effort and risks
- Assist in testing software releases for other members of the team
- Document software designs and instructions for use
- Support and maintain software released to internal and external customers
- Participate in software process improvement teams
- Mentor less experienced software engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Proficiency in C/C programming
- 8 years of software development experience
- 5 years of software development experience using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
